This crew prepares the food for our supper. We serve a meals,salad and a dessert. Coffee, tea, juice are also prepared for our guests consumption.
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Read Communication Book.
- Sign Volunteer Sign In Sheet and get a nametag (first name only).
- Be aware of situations – assist other volunteers if necessary. (Understand what to do in a crisis.)
- Wash hands frequently.
- Make sure anyone who brings in food, signs in Food Log.
- Know fire evacuation procedures.
- Know where telephone is (take note of emergency numbers)
- Fill containers if necessary.
- Prepare frozen food for heating if necessary
- Prepare Food – juice, coffee, water, sugar, cream, meal, salad, and dessert.
- Keep food area tidy.
- Before leaving refrigerate unused food.
- Use dishwasher to clean dishes and return dishes to cupboard.
- When using three sinks: Wash, Rinse and Second rinse water should contain bleach.
- Record any comments / concerns in communication book
- Sign out when you go home.
